Soil composition: Moderately clayey.
Wine characteristics: Very brilliant
ruby-red whit brick hints. It is a fresh,lightbodied and warm wine. Very
complex aroma of long ageing (spice, coffee, leather and wood finish)
and strong by mouth, well structured with a great variety of sensations,
ample and with noble tannins well matched. By retornasal via it is a elegant
and has a great length with reminiscence of its ageing in wood. Good acidity
and a longlife.
Serving suggestions: It should be served between 16º and 18º with
soft paste cheese, red meat and game disher. A bit cooler it is a perfect
match for cooked or boiled fish. We recommend to open the bottle 1 or
2 hours before consumption in order to oxigenate the wine properly.

Area of production: "TIERRA DE BARROS" Badajoz (Extremadura).
Soil composition: Moderately clayey.
Wine characteristics: Intense ruby-red.
The nose displays a great aromatic variety very well matched in harmonies
of its ageing and ripe fruitiness. It is a tasty, full bodied wine, powerful
by retornasal via and with a pleasantly tannic aftertaste. It has an excellent
structure which will allow it to evolve to a great bouquet. Aftertaste
of liquorice and vanilla.
Serving suggestions:
It should be best served between 16º and 18ºC and it matches perfectly
all kind of meat, rice and vegetables. A bit cooler it goes well with
salted or smoked fish. At any temperature the wine will improve
if becomes oxygenated by opening the bottle two hours before serving.
