Soil composition: Moderately clayey.
Wine characteristics: Intense cherry-ruby
colour with brick tones and medium intensity. With a well balanced fruity
and ageing aroma, the nose displays elegant hints of leather, tobacco
and spices. By mouth it is ample and vogorous, very balanced and lively.
By retornasal via the long characters of their ageing in wood linger
well matched noble tannins.
Serving suggestions: It should be served at 18ºC. Is is an appropiate
wine for heavy meals, all kind of meats (game, ox, lamb, poultry) stews
and cured or strong taste cheese. At lower temperature it is a perfect
match with soups, creams, pâtés and cooked fish. It should be let "breathe"
before consumption. Open the bottle from two to four hours before serving.
