In our vineyards the grape varieties Tempranillo, Garnacha and Graciano maturate in a clavey soil at the sunshine with a low rainfall rarely exceeding the 400-500 ml. a year.

The vines grow in shallow and low fertile soils in order to diminish the production, thus improving the quality of the grape. They are not watered at any moment of the year to prevent from the decreasing of tannins, basic elements for an excellent ageing. No herbicides or chemical fertilizers are used.

The prunning of the vines during winter and summer is performed conscientiously and with extreme care; after the sprout of the grape and before the Envero some fruits are removed from the vine to enhance the quality of the bunches remaining in the plant.

These labours decrease the yield of the vineyards and keep the appropiate amount of production in order to obtain grapes with the best grade, acidity and structure needed for the subsequent ageing and production of our wines.
