This Champagne to as his name suggests is for desserts, although a desert Champagne it can be drunk as an aperitif for people who do not like a real dry Champagne.
I would also add that the champagne while described as sweet, has good balance, and is not very sweet it should not be confused with for example a sweet Bordeaux wine such as Sauternes.
