VIN DE TABLE ROUGE - Roland Thevenin

CUVEE ROUGE 12% : 100% French table wine.
GRAPE VARIETIES:
Mourvedre, a "noble" variety, is chosen to contribute rich colour and
structure. Syrah, another "noble" variety, adds further depth of colour and "backbone" to the structure, as well as particular flavours (rich fruit and spice). Carignan also enhances the colour nuances and adds intensity to the taste. Finally Cinsault, a typical southern Wine variety, enhances the fruit aromas and acidity levels for good balance.
AREA OF PRODUCTION: Certain choice vineyards in the Roussillon region of southern France have been selected by competition (comparative tasting by experts). The benefit of a hot climate adds body to the wines, even when still young.
